Introducing Hytera's New compact business radio offering a reliable professional radio for under £200. The Hytera BD505 is available in VHF (Ideal for rural open areas) and UHF (ideal for built up urban environments) variants assisting customers with their own needs.

The BD505 radio offers a simple push to talk technology but delivers on a clear reliable voice communication.

The Hytera BD505 can be charged using a multi-unit charger, enabling you to charge 6 radios at once using the MCL19 Multi Charger. This is ideal for small businesses or single chargers which can be purchased by selecting the option above.

The radios also use DMR signalling enabling you to transmit group calls, private call and all calls which can be programmed into the radio.

This BD505 radio works in both analogue and digital mode enabling you to use it with your old fleet of radios and at the flick of a switch it will work in digital mode with your new radios offering clear digital voice communications. The main advantage of digital radios is the ability to reduce and sometime limit the background noise.

The Hytera BD505 radio also has a working time of up to 22 hours with the 2000mAh Battery (BL2008) and 16 hours in digital mode with its standard 1500mAh Battery (BL1506).

The BD505 radio has channel number announcements and has hands-free VOX feature enabling you to communicate without the need to press any buttons freeing up your hands to work.

The BD505 uses a lot of the same accessories as the Hytera PD400 Series radios including the 2-pin audio connector enabling you to use existing earpieces you may already have purchased with previous radios.
