Kenwood have also released a small compact repeater called the NXR-1700/NXR-1800 which works virtually in sielnce; no noisy fans. The NXR1700/1800 repeater operates in analogue mode as standard but can be upgraded to DMR and become part of a Tier 2 network. Not to mention their Nexedge base repeater trunking solutions including the NXR-710E & NXR-810E.
