This product provides access to later Motorola MOTOTRBO CPS 2.0 firmware update packages for selected compatible radios already on the CPS 2.0 firmware path.

Motorola MOTOTRBO radios can contain a software update entitlement, service expiry date or update timer. This means that even if you have the correct firmware file, the radio may not be entitled to accept that firmware if the software update period has expired.
In simple terms, some radios cannot be updated past a certain point unless the radio is still within its valid software update period, warranty, service package or Software Update Management entitlement.
If you are unsure, contact us before purchasing with your radio model, current firmware version, codeplug version and any CPS update error message.
The M2025.01, M2025.02 and M2025.03 firmware packages are later Motorola MOTOTRBO CPS 2.0 firmware releases. Each release may include firmware updates, CPS / Radio Management changes, security updates, bug fixes and product-specific improvements.

The firmware package is normally installed onto your computer first. Once installed, the firmware should become available inside the correct Motorola CPS 2.0 software, allowing the compatible radio to be updated using the correct programming cable.
If CPS 2.0 shows an error stating that the software update policy, Software Update Management entitlement or service period has expired, the radio may not be allowed to accept the selected firmware release.
In this situation, the firmware file itself may be correct, but the radio may still refuse the update because the update period has expired. You may need to check the radio entitlement, warranty or service package before proceeding.
This is a downloadable firmware product. Once the download link has been supplied, accessed or the file has been downloaded, the order cannot be refunded.

Not always. The radio may have a software update limit, service expiry date or Software Update Management entitlement that prevents it from accepting later firmware. The file may be correct, but the radio may still refuse the update.
Software Update Management is used to determine whether a radio is eligible to accept later firmware updates. If the update period has expired, CPS may prevent the radio from being updated to a later release.
