New Mid-Tier Motorola Two Way Radio

Motorola have announced a new slim line radio, to be launched late September/October.

The Motorola SL2600 is a model above the Motorola SL1600, with added touch sensor. More details will be released soon but for now, here are a few of the radios features:

• Frequency Range: VHF (136-174MHz) / UHF (403-480MHz)
• Dual mode: Digital or Analogue (DMR, PL/DPL, MDC, 5-Tone)
• Max Output Power: 3W (digital) / 2W (analogue)
• Channel Capacity: 256
• Battery Life: 13.5 hours (digital) / 11 hours (analogue)
• IP54
• System capability: IP site connect, Capacity Plus and Multi-Site Capacity Plus (Linked Capacity Plus)
• Virtual display that is invisible when the radio is switched off & capacitive touch sensor
• Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi which can be utilised with indoor location tracking, wireless accessories & remote software updates
