St Gemma's Hospice - Midnight Walk and Upcoming Events

St Gemma's Hospice

On Saturday 18th June 2016, around 800 people took part in the St Gemma's Hospice 10th Leeds Midnight Walk. This was a fantastic turn out and it is hoped that there will be £85,000 raised from the event, most of this being from sponsorship from the people taking part.

Radio-Shop once again supported St Gemma's Hospice by donating several Hytera PD405 radios and accessories to assist in ensuring the event ran smoothly. 

Head of Fundraising, Gail, had this to say:

"Once again, the radio’s made such a huge difference  - we used to just ring each other to ask questions, but when it is noisy this is really not effective – so the radios make it so much easier to communicate with each other and makes it run so much more smoothly"
